Our streamlined, low-profile latex mattress for an easier entry height. It suits adjustable beds, platform beds and high-low care beds where total bed height matters, and keeps the reversible design, handles and zipper.

12 inch
Our most luxurious and substantial model. The added height allows a refined combination of cushioning, transition and support, with the broadest range of firmness configurations.

Firmness comes from how the latex is chosen and layered, not from a thin decorative topper.

Gentle give at the surface that cushions shoulders and hips. Often chosen by side sleepers and lighter sleepers.
A balanced feel that pairs surface comfort with steady support, suited to many back and combination sleepers.
A flatter, more stable surface for sleepers who want less sink and more push-back, including many stomach sleepers.
Our firmest orthopedic feel, with minimal give, for those who prefer a very solid sleep surface.

The two-sided details that make a mattress truly reversible and serviceable.
Both surfaces receive finished quilting, comfort materials and careful tailoring, so the mattress can be slept on from either side. Reversing it from time to time spreads normal wear across the whole mattress.
Breathable cotton creates a familiar, inviting surface, and wool adds loft while helping regulate temperature. That suits Ojai, where hot valley summers give way to frosty winter mornings beneath the Topatopa Mountains.
Latex is dense and durable, so anchored handles make positioning, rotating and reversing the mattress more manageable. Use them to guide the mattress rather than carry its full weight.
A zippered cover opens for inspection or a comfort adjustment, which is especially useful if you later want to fine-tune your firmness.

Each mattress is layered, fitted and finished by hand to its own work order.

Each Latexpedic mattress is planned around its height, firmness, size and the bed it will sit on. The latex layers are cut, centered and aligned by hand, then the quilted panel is closed and the perimeter is checked until the shape is square and even.
Borders, corners, seams, handles and zipper are all checked by hand. The finished mattress is tested flat and, when appropriate, on an adjustable base to confirm it matches the requested firmness.
Latex bends readily when the head or foot of an adjustable bed rises and returns to shape when it lowers. The 7 inch model is especially helpful when a lower overall bed height is wanted.
